What you can do to a picture

Drop in any photo from your device and it is fitted to the canvas. From there:6 frames — a classic purple, a pink gradient, gold, neon, a polaroid and a cosmic one — 12 stickers covering the members' animal nicknames and the usual purple hearts, and text in any colour. Stickers and text are layers you drag, so nothing is committed until you download.

Nothing is uploaded, and that is a design decision

Every free photo editor that asks you to upload a picture is taking a copy of it. This one cannot: the whole thing runs on a canvas element inside your own browser, and there is no endpoint here that accepts an image from this page. Your photo is never sent anywhere, is never stored, and is gone the moment you close the tab. The download comes from your device, not from a server.

The frames are drawn, not images

Each frame is painted onto the canvas in code rather than loaded as a PNG overlay. That means they are sharp at any size, none of them can 404, and the editor works with no network at all once the page has loaded. It also fixed something real: the version this replaced named seven frames, drew the same purple rectangle for all of them, and shipped with all seven preview thumbnails missing from the server.

What it is good for
